Mining for Lithium in Cornwall?

In a previous post I mentioned I was looking for investment opportunities related to companies involved with the electric car – especially with it about to go mainstream.

Glencore was one such company I was reviewing when I came across this little known start-up, Cornish Lithium Ltd. They are searching for lithium in Cornwall. Lithium is a key ingredient needed in batteries used in electric cars and mined in China, Chile and Australia.

Cornish Lithium Ltd has secured mining rights to explore possible lithium in underground salt water deposits in Cornwall. The company has raised capital to help it explore a section of Cornwall that it believes is rich in Lithium.
