End of Petrol and diesel in France?

I noticed a very interesting report recently that really grabbed my attention.

The end of petrol & diesel engines

The ecology minister for France, Nicolas Hulot, has a vision that by 2040 you will not be able to buy a diesel or petrol powered car in France. Tough target? – Maybe… but with Norway and the Netherlands on a similar road, and with Germany aiming to put one million electric cars on the road by 2020 – the electric powered car is finally gaining speed.

Where there’s a will – there’s a way, as the saying goes…

I’m grateful to companies like Tesla with their modern thinking and vision. These young ‘upstarts’, in my opinion, have provided the jolt the industry needs to really get the electric car moving.
