Congratulations to Raspberry Pi

News

Brilliant piece of kit – I love it! The Raspberry Pi reminds me of the home computer hobby age of the 1980’s ushered in by the likes of Sinclair and Commodore computers. The Raspberry Pi has won an award from the Academy of Engineering. The company, based in Cambridge, created the Raspberry Pi to get kids interested in computer programming. I’m a big kid, and it worked with me and with 14 million sold worldwide so far – it’s worked with many others too.

It’s a true UK manufacturing success – made in South Wales with more than 80% exported – with the US being the biggest market – who’d have thought. Well done Raspberry Pi – just brilliant!
