Micro Focus International PLC completes deal.

Micro Focus International PLC (MCRO) shares are up this morning by 7.6% at: £23.75

The company on 1st September 2017 successfully completed its merger with HPE Software.

This has been an exceptional period for Micro Focus as it was itself the target of a potential takeover in 2011.

In September 2016 Micro Focus announced the Hewlett Packard deal and the merger is now complete. Here we are today with Micro Focus a FTSE 100 company and one of the biggest software businesses in the UK

I have been a Micro Focus shareholder in the past but I do not hold any shares at the moment. They are an impressive company and I like what they do.
