Google and Walmart go shopping

News

Google and Walmart go shopping.

Walmart and Google are joining forces using voice enabled shopping technology to take on Amazon’s dominance in voice activated shopping.

From next month US shoppers will be able to buy Walmart goods using Google Assistant.

Amazon dominate online retail and now use their voice technology fronted by Alexa to encourage ‘easier’ shopping for their customers.

Presumably this is seen by the business world as an explosive area to further boost profits and so corporate giants Google and Walmart have joined forces to enter the voice shopping market.

Walmart own ASDA in the UK and Morrisons Supermarket recently did a deal with Amazon.  I wonder how long it will be before this service is available to you and me?
